Car Show
The 5th Annual Car Show was held at O.L.A. on 11/5/23. The show featured 185 show cars and numerous vendors. The designated charity for the event was St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Multiple planning meetings were held to organize the event. Approximately 2500 flyers were distributed at nearly three dozen local car shows to promote the event. Social media and news media outlets were also utilized to promote the event. A team of brothers solicited and acquired approximately 50 donations used for door prizes and numerous sponsorships and advertisements for the event program booklet.
Team Leaders were designated for various functions such as Parking, Food, etc. A total of 54 Brother Knights and an additional 10 significant others volunteered throughout the process from start to finish to make this the most successful Car Show to date.
Food cooked and served. 50/50 raffle tickets sold. Door prizes raffled off. Trophies presented to ‘Top 3’ and ‘Fan Favorite’ winners. Music/ DJ services provided. Photos of event taken. Knights of Columbus information/ recruitment table staffed throughout event.
Due to the efforts of all, a grand total of $15,000.00 was donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
