The OneBlood Drive is one of the most impactful charitable works supported by our council, as it offers parishioners and community members a chance to directly save lives through the gift of blood donation. What many people do not realize is that just one pint of blood can save up to three lives, since it is separated into red blood cells, plasma, and platelets—each used for different medical needs. Donated blood is essential for patients undergoing surgeries, cancer treatments, trauma care, and countless other emergencies where every drop truly matters.

The Knights of Columbus proudly partner with OneBlood by helping to host drives at our parish, recruit donors, and provide volunteers to ensure each drive runs smoothly. These events not only provide a practical way to serve our community but also remind us of Christ’s call to give of ourselves for others. Through this life-saving effort, our council embodies the virtue of charity and strengthens the bonds of unity within our parish family. Every donor makes a difference, and together we become instruments of hope and healing to those in their time of greatest need.
