WHAT WE DO
Blessed Michael McGivney, a parish priest in New Haven, Connecticut, founded the Knights of Columbus in 1882 to provide spiritual support and financial assistance to Catholic families in need. Inspired by the hardships faced by widows and orphans in his parish, he united a group of laymen to form a fraternal organization rooted in charity, unity, and fraternity. His vision offered Catholic men a way to live out their faith, support one another, and serve both Church and community.

Today, the Knights of Columbus continues to grow worldwide, driven by Blessed McGivney’s belief that faith must be put into action. Built on the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, the Knights serve through hands-on service and charitable works. Council 13341 proudly upholds this tradition—organizing events and activities not only to bring our community together, but to raise vital funds and awareness for the local and national charities we support. Every fundraiser, volunteer effort, and outreach project we undertake directly contributes to helping those in need and strengthening the communities we serve.

We Support
Special Olympics Florida

Special Olympics Florida celebrates the God-given dignity of every individual by providing athletes with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to compete, grow, and inspire through sports. Their courage and joy remind us of Christ’s call to love and serve one another, especially the most vulnerable among us. As Knights, we proudly support Special Olympics Florida as a living witness of our faith in action.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital works to cure and prevent pediatric catastrophic diseases, ensuring families never receive a bill for care, travel, housing, or food. The Knights of Columbus support this mission through fundraisers, community events, and charity drives. Together, we help bring hope and healing to children and families in need. OneBlood

OneBlood’s mission is simple but vital — to ensure a safe and ready blood supply for hospitals and patients in need. Every blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives, making each donor a hero in their own right. The Knights of Columbus proudly partner with OneBlood by hosting blood drives throughout the year, rallying our parish and community to give the gift of life. Through these efforts, we live out our commitment to charity and service, one pint at a time.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a local nonprofit that builds and repairs homes for families in need, offering them a safe and affordable place to live. Their mission is to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope through volunteer efforts and donations. The Knights of Columbus proudly support Habitat for Humanity through hands-on projects and fundraising efforts.
