Good Friday

On Good Friday, we pause to reflect on the ultimate act of love and sacrifice—when Jesus Christ laid down His life for the salvation of the world. It is a solemn reminder that through suffering came redemption, and through the cross came hope.

For the Knights of Columbus, this day calls us to live out our core principles of charity, unity, and fraternity. Just as Christ gave of Himself completely, we are reminded of our mission to serve others selflessly, support our communities, and stand strong in our faith.

May this Good Friday inspire us to carry our own crosses with courage, extend compassion to those in need, and remain steadfast in our commitment to God and one another.

Knights of Columbus Council 13341, based at Our Lady of the Angels in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, is a vibrant brotherhood of Catholic men united by faith and a shared mission of service. Guided by the core principles of charity, unity and fraternity, we work together to support our parish, uplift our local community, and contribute to national causes through hands-on volunteerism, fundraising, and spiritual leadership.

With over 400 active members—making us one of the largest councils in the state—we are proud to lead initiatives such as Habitat For Humanity, One-blood drives, tootsie roll fundraising, Orioles Spring Training  concessions, Coats For Kids and numerous family / charitable outreach programs. Whether you're a lifelong Catholic or newly exploring ways to deepen your faith, the Knights offer a path to grow spiritually while making a real difference.
