Easter Egg Hunt
Our annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt event was held from 9:30-12:00 on March 18, 2023. The event was held in our Parrish Center where we hosted over 150 Parrish families and guests. All guests checked in at the registration table in the lobby where the children were given coloring books and crayons and everyone enjoyed a delicious pancake and sausage breakfast. The children were entertained by the festive sounds played by our live DJ John Finnegan and the Arts & Crafts table was a big hit as the children all got involved making decorative Easter Crafts.
All the Children came prepared with their Easter Baskets in hand and participated in the traditional egg hunt guided by parents and grandparents…those of whom could keep up with the eager egg hunters. Just in case we were not having enough fun already, our DJ John Finnegan (Fogg Sound) kicked off a special dance contest and 2 lucky children won dance awards.
The crescendo of the morning came when the Easter Binny himself made a special guest appearance and joined the children on the dance floor for an Easter Rave. Mr. Bunny then sat down to take pictures with all the families and had special gifts for each child 9 and under. Everyone left with full bellies and smiles on their faces.
This years’ event could not have been the huge success it was without a lot of assistance from the Easter Bunnies helpers. There was a total of 232 total volunteer hours related to the planning and execution of the EEH event. Special recognition to Mike Mahan for running the kitchen, Kathy Cestaro for running the Arts & Crafts table and of course our Easter Bunny and event Chairman Noah Henry. A special thank you to Family Director Bob Cestaro and his Chairmen Noah Henry, Frank Dressman plus all the Team Captains and volunteers.
