St. Michael's Food Pantry
Weekly, Council #13341 travels to St. Michael’s Church in Wauchula, Fl. St. Michael’s parish has a food bank operated by the Sisters of the Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matara. The food bank serves 120-300 families a week. The main task is to unload, sort, and store approximately 11,000 pounds of donated food. In addition the Knights complete other pantry tasks.
Wauchula is located in Hardee County which is one of the poorest counties in Florida. St. Michael’s parish consists mainly of migrant families.
